Cebit Updates Cool Gadgets for 2010 from www.channelgoods.com

Paging Mr. Bond! Celluloid gadget impresario “Q.” may not have been present at the CeBit
conference, but his spirit certainly was:

General Mobile has premiered the GM500 Cell Watch
, an enormous wristwatch that combines mobile phone features with a touchscreen keyboard,
voice recorder, and mp3 player.

It’s blue-tooth enabled,
but it’s hands-down more fun to whisper into the watch itself,
preferably in an English accent. “Shaken, not stirred.”
The price tag is a bit steep - 599 euro -

especially given that there’s no internet capacity or other iphone-esque widgets,
but the sheer joy of living out your preteen spy fantasies might almost make it worth it!
